BIMA-NY is a project of the Stanton Street Shul, located at 180 Stanton Street, in New York City. The Stanton Street Shul is a 93 year old Synagogue located in the heart of the original Lower East Side. The Shul has recently hired a wonderful new spiritual leader: Rabbi Yossi Pollak. Rabbi Pollak is a graduate of Yeshivat Chovevei Torah. Rabbi Yossi is also a musician who plays guitar and mandolin. Come visit the shul, one of the last tenement shuls left functioning on the Lower East Side. You will find a traditional Orthodox synagogue with a warm congregation of people of all ages, backgrounds and religious practice. The Shul has many interesting and exciting programs.
